We are back again at the school where we had our first gig in 2001! This is a big event that the school puts on for the students, family, and community. There will be all kinds of entertainment and food and it's free!

Our latest CD. Shakanaka, has some of our most popular high energy traditional Zimbabwean favorites as well as covers of some well-known Latin and pop standards you'll want to dance to! This is our most ambitious CD and includes "Waka Waka" as well as reggae, salsa, and bluegrass.
Our second CD, Mas, has a combination of music from Zimbabwe and Latin America, including "La Bamba," "Guantanamera," and a medley of cumbias in a Guatemalan style. This CD is very popular with the over-50 crowd. We are almost out of stock of CDs for this one. Find it on Bandzoogle- we get more of the proceeds on this site. It is also available on Apple and Amazon.
Our first CD, Masanga Marimba, has a combination of high energy Zimbabwean marimba classics along with some soothing mbira music. Little kids especially love this CD in the car. Adults will love it too!

Upcoming Shows!
This will be a big anniversary party for the UCLA Ethnomusicology Archive. A big thanks to Maureen for inviting us. We will do a hands-on workshop and a concert. The concert will be one of the year's biggest with a full horn section and surprise guests (that even 90% the band don't know about). It's freeeeee!
